The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home. The food served at the restaurant was jaw-droppingly delicious, and the fact that they had gluten-free options available was a huge plus. The village of Hospental itself is a hidden gem, with its cute small streets, impressive old bridge, and stunning views. The garage parking for my motorbike was a great convenience, and the free Wi-Fi made it easy for me to stay connected. I also enjoyed the table tennis and board games that were available, adding to the overall fun and relaxed atmosphere. My room was tidy, clean, and warm, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. I absolutely adored the charming and cozy atmosphere of this Gasthaus. The vintage decor and traditional Swiss elements added a lot of character to the place. It truly felt like stepping back in time! As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility throughout the hotel. The hallways were wide, and the stairs were manageable with handrails for support. It made getting around much easier for me.
The only thing I would have loved to see improved for a better vacation experience for senior people is the availability of an elevator. It would have been a great help, especially for those with mobility issues.
